Conscious movement and nature connection to support creativity

AVAILABLE TO BOOK FROM MID SEPTEMBER 2027

What if creative ideas do not originate from us, but arrive through us? The ancients believed muses whispered inspiration to those open enough to receive it – positioning us as conduits rather than owners of our art. This shifts our focus from product to process, from control to curiosity.

Still, we add our own flavour to the idea. In these moments of merging with something bigger, each co-creation holds echoes of our past experience and seeds of future potential. In the creative process we can transform both our reality and our sense of self.

In this five-weekend closed group, we will use the 5Rhythms® movement practice as our foundation, letting the wave carry us through creative doorways: movement, writing, visual art, and sound. Each weekend focuses on a different art form. Saturdays we dance and experiment; Sunday mornings we venture into nature in search of the muses; Sunday afternoons we weave our discoveries back onto the dance floor.

We may find inspiration. We may not. We may love what we make – or not. Either way, we will savour the privilege of the journey.

Testimonials

This is the second year of the Echoes and Visions closed group. Last year’s participants had some lovely things to say about it:

Rachel offered us such generosity of heart and energy, with this embodied offering of creative explorations. As a facilitator myself I wanted to experience being held in a group rather than holding and through the course of the weekends I dropped quite naturally into this, as if by magic, and without having to push, persuade or ask anything of myself. This was my experience of the power of Rachel’s solid and gentle holding as well as the group trust in ourselves, each other, the land, and the process. I found my 3-year-old who delighted in having others to play with as the various themes unfolded. The dance wrapped around and within the activities like a beautiful moving web. I felt met and respected. I have come away with so many insights to integrate. I want to do it all again!

Rachel adds a magical approach to encourage us to be present, trust and engage. I felt a renewed sense of exploring my dance and how I value being a creative person in the dance. Try it!

Put down your preconceived ideas and arrive open…Be prepared for change!

The idea of doing ‘hippy stuff’ was both embarrassing and terrifying but I knew words weren’t touching what I needed them to. I learnt to feel safe, to be in parts of myself and in the end to connect them all together. That helped me connect with others too.

I cannot express the levels of freedom, creativity and playfulness I experienced on this course. Rachel held us all so well I felt completely safe to drop into deep freedom.

A wonderful six-month dance floor wrapped in magic, held by gentle and powerful facilitation from Rachel.
